Meeting Charlie was a pleasure. He enriched the lives of everyone he met. Charlie was always there to offer a helping hand.  He was a great guy. He will surely be missed.

Charlie was at his best when he would talk about his flying experiences. He never failed to keep his audience in stitches.  We've missed Charlie & wife Julie the last few years as she cared for him at home. Charlie and Julie were very competitive Trap shooters and trust we'll see Julie return to our range.

When we installed our first lights for night shooting, Charlie accompanied me to the MCAS Miramar control tower one evening.  There we consulted with the folks on duty to confirm that our lights weren't affecting flight operations.  He immediately captured their confidence by communicating as a seasoned pilot with the Marine Air Traffic Controllers. Charlie suggested a few tweaks to our installed lighting which pleased the Tower staff.  I was grateful that we had Charlie help us with obtaining the Tower staff approval of the adjustments he recommended.

We'll all miss you Charlie!
